The aim is to create added value for customers through significantly shorter delivery times and the removal of minimum order quantities. The product range in the elo.store covers elobau’s four product areas: Operator controls, machine safety, sensor technology and level measurement. For the implementation, elobau has founded the subsidiary elostore GmbH & Co. KG, which operates the online store with elobau’s products. “With the elo.store, we want to respond better to the needs of small and medium-sized companies,” says Michael Hetzer, Managing Director of elo.store. The biggest added value for customers is the delivery time. As 650 different items are currently stocked in the elo.store, delivery times are reduced to 1-3 days. The number of items available in the online store is contionouly expanded and itemrequests are welcome.
Unusual in the B2B sector
Goods can be returned within two weeks – even if they are not defective. “We know that this is not common in the B2B sector, but we see it as a service to our customers,” says Hetzer. “In case they have questions and need help, our experts are available via a live chat function.”
