Technology and innovation are the cornerstones of our success. If you like working with your hands and have an affinity for even the most complex contexts, have a look around. Our uniquely high vertical integration offers exciting positions in the electrical, metal, and plastics areas.
Training is considered a very important issue at elobau. As a company that is well-rooted in the region, we view it as our social responsibility to train the experts of tomorrow ourselves. This is why elobau is offering training in commercial/technical, business and IT professions.
Our goal is to optimally prepare our trainees for their jobs, so that they can deal with the demands of daily work. We have modern training facilities, machines and equipment available for this purpose. At least one trained instructor or training officer is available in each training department.
Education and the ensuing opportunities for the future are a matter dear to my heart. When we redesigned the training area in 2012, we placed a great deal of emphasis on a generous, well-thought-out room concept. As a result, our training area offers plenty of space to flourish. More than 40 apprentices divided into three age categories can be trained here.
Our training concept
Professional competence to act is the goal of vocational training.
The regulations regarding vocational training are defined for most professions:
“The skills and knowledge set out in this ordinance are to be conveyed in relation to the respective process so as to enable the trainees to perform a qualified vocational activity including, in particular, independent planning, execution and checking as well as acting in the overall context of the company operations.”
The principle: The trainees learn how to independently familiarise themselves with the technical fundamentals when faced with a specific problem.
The effect: The trainees learn not only specialist knowledge – which, under certain circumstances, is quickly outdated – but they also learn how to learn and can quickly become familiarised with new topics if necessary. Furthermore, interdisciplinary qualifications of the trainees, such as personal initiative, sense of responsibility, reliability and team spirit, are required.
The trainees should independently:
- inform themselves about the respective task
- plan the work
- perform this work
- check and assess
For this reason, they complete all work assignments in our guide texts according to the model of complete action.
Through cooperation in all job-related departments and areas, our trainees gain the necessary process-oriented professional experience. They acquire the professional capacity to act through independent planning, execution and checking of projects and projects tasks.
