In the case of a conflict of interest, your direct manager or the human resources department should always be informed in order to resolve the conflict in the interests of the ensian group. A conflict of interest arises if the personal interests of individuals do not coincide with the interests of the ensian group. Personal interests may also relate to family members, relatives and friends. It is our objective that cooperation with representatives or trading partners has to stand up to a third party comparison and may not be used to circumvent rules for fighting corruption.
Participation in illegal agreements or practices restricting competition is prohibited. This also applies to agreements with competitors, in particular regarding conditions, market sharing or prices. We welcome cooperation aimed at raising ecological and social standards, but it must never undermine anti-trust law.

We refrain from making payments and report transactions to the authorities if there are any suspicions that they could be related to money laundering, other criminal activities, or the financing of terrorism.
We are aware of our responsibility to our employees and society and motivate other companies to follow our example.
We consider requests for our environmental and social standards favourably but within the sphere of the employees concerned, who are responsible for their own decisions.
We protect the personal and confidential information of our employees, customers and other stakeholders from unauthorised access by technical and organisational measures.
We use the property and resources of the ensian group appropriately, carefully and protect them from loss, theft or misuse. In addition to the material property, the intellectual property of our company represents a competitive advantage.
Together with their managers, our employees are responsible for ensuring that the type and scope of business trips are always in proportion to the purpose of the trip and that they are planned and carried out with due consideration for time, costs and environmental aspects.
If there are any concerns regarding compliance with our principles in this Code of Conduct, please raise them in the spirit of open communication. Any violation may result in a loss of reputation and legal disadvantages for the employee concerned, their colleagues, and the ensian group.
Any violation of the ensian group’s Code of Conduct should be reported immediately to your direct manager, another manager or the human resources department. You may also contact a member of the management or administrative board at any time. All reports are treated confidentially and we protect employees who raise concerns from the negative consequences of their actions.
Continuity in the base technology
elobau was founded in 1972 with the invention of a magnetic proximity switch on reed contact basis for a hay distribution system. Since then, we have remained true to contactless sensors and their unbeatable advantages. Reed contacts require no power supply, are extremely robust and can be integrated in the electronic communication of machines or off highway vehicles. Thanks not least of all to this extensive experience, elobau today is among the world’s leading suppliers of contactless sensor technology.
Solution competency and service-provider gene
elobau was never a classic manufacturer of standard products. Even for the very first customer in the company’s history, a complete system was offered: elobau supplied the required control system for the newly developed reed contact. Development partnerships based on equal footing are our goal for every collaboration. elobau, therefore, places value on stable developer teams and contact persons for every customer – independent of whether for the overnight production of a prototype for a specific product variant or for a custom product that is developed together over several years. Continuity and flexibility through short decision-making channels are the results.
Hunger for innovation and a culture of change
Innovative solutions are our passion, agile work and the ability to change are our mission as a forward-looking company. We invest an above-average 10 per cent of our sales in research and development. More than 40 patented inventions and ongoing optimizations in our customer orders are the results. We are thereby able to constantly secure new competitive advantages for our customers and strengthen our own market position for the long term. For us, innovation and change also mean acting as a driving force by constantly offering our markets future-proof developments. A current example is the development of our modularly structured, standardized armrest. This will consist of up to 75% of bio-based materials – a pioneering project in our industry.
