Short profile

- economical - easy mechanical treatment - high temperature index - limited temperature range - Material characteristics: Barium- or strontium ferrite crystals (90%) embedded in a synthetic rubber (10%). The crystals have a preferred orientation perpendicular to the surface. The most important magnetic characteristics lie between the well known magnetic materials Ox-100 and Ox-300, (more closely to Ox-300). Exact data can be found in the technical specifications (see table). The material does not become brittle and does not weaken at low temperatures. Even under strong mechanical stress it does not shed particles. Available shapes: Through punching or cutting, good adaptation to the external dimensions can be achieved on a case-by-case basis. Annular, strip and round magnets are available. The magnets are delivered in thicknesses of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.5 and 6 mm (± 0.15 mm). Standard punching tools are available for annular magnets. Customer-specific shapes and designs on request. As a rule, pre-magnetised parts are measured for field strength. Very close tolerances are also possible. Manufacturing tolerance of the punched parts: inside diameter: +0.5 mm, outside diameter: -0.5 mm. Installation: Plastic magnets are also very well suited for use with adhesives (please contact us for advice if applicable).
