Proximity switch in cylindrical design with reed-contact

Proximity switches on reed-contact basis switch upon approach of a magnet. The main advantage of these proximity switches is the function without applied power supply.


The proximity switches are highly flexible in the application. This is due to the variability of the switching voltage and switching currents as well as the high switching power (up to 250 V AC/DC, up to 1.5 A).


There are no mechanical or wearing parts, which ensures a long service life with up to 109 switching cycles and making it a durable and economical solution.

Proximity switch in cylindrical design based on Hall sensor

These proximity switches are full-electronic Hall-effect sensors. The built-in Hall chip responds on the approach of a magnet and switches the signal. Compared to electromechanical technologies, the electronic proximity switches can switch at faster frequencies, an advantage in applications with rapidly changing switching states.

The magnet only detects the preset polarity of the Hall sensor. This provides an initial level of tampering protection. The Hall sensor is thereby reverse-polarity protected and short-circuit proof.
