Security for man and machine
elobau offers a comprehensive range of products to protect both man and machine in the field of machine safety. Customers have the advantage of buying a complete system from one manufacturer.
For machine guard monitoring elobau can offer proximity-effect safety sensors with good misalignment tolerance making them very easy to mount onto machines.
The systems are approved to EN 954-1 and, depending upon type of control unit, meet categories from 1-4. The sensors are available in many different formats, one of them having ATEX approval.
Depending upon the version, up to 32 sensors can be monitored by a single control unit and some versions also have the facility to monitor external contactors.
For guards that have to be locked there are lock-bolt units in the programme which are monitored for both guard closed and locked by a control unit. Up to 12 lock-bolts can be monitored by these control units, at the same time as normal machine guard sensors and external contactors.
For emergency stop button monitoring there is a range of emergency stop relays that can be used as stand-alone units or in conjunction with elobau control units as a part of an integrated system. Also available are a range of control units that can be used to monitor both door sensors and emergency stop buttons, as well as contactors, all at the same time.
