Float switches side mount

Float switches side mount are level detection sensors that can be used to monitor leaks among other uses.

A magnet, which is located in the folding float, outputs a signal as it moves towards a reed switch located in the housing, when the fluid level rises. Rotating the float switch by 180° around its own axis allows the switching function to be reversed.

The service life of the reed switch ranges from 106 to 109 operating cycles depending on the mechanical and electrical load.
